My father Tim grew up on Redmond Street with his brothers, Moss, Larry, Jack, Oliver & Tom, next door to our good friends the Campions. You will still find Moss frequenting "Alberts" most afternoons. There names were George Watts (g grandfather) was married to Mary Coleman, and Richard Watts, my grandfather came to Birmingham then Yorkshire before going to France during WW 1 He died in May 1918. I hope to visit one day and see if there are any relatives around. |
